Exciting News: Art 4 All - Howden Art Festival 2024
We at Goddards Care and the Crafty Cabin are overjoyed to announce our collaboration with Howden Town Council for a spectacular event that's bound to spark creativity and community spirit. Join us for the "Art 4 All - Howden", a two-day Art Festival, taking place on 20th & 21st April 2024.
This year, we're embracing the theme of World Art Day: 'A Garden of Expression - Cultivating our Communities through Art'. It's more than just an event; it's a celebration of creativity, inclusivity, and the vibrant tapestry of our community.
Calling All Artists and Art Enthusiasts!
Your creativity and participation are crucial for the success of this festival. We're inviting community groups, care homes, charities, schools, and individual artists to contribute and exhibit their artwork. It's an open call for all to showcase their talent and vision.
Please submit your art by Monday, 8th April, to be part of this exciting exhibition.
What's Happening at the Festival?
1. At Howden Minster
-Art Exhibition by The Goddards:
A unique display encouraging individuals with disabilities and associated health needs to exhibit or be involved. It's a platform to express and celebrate diverse abilities through art.
-Pop-up Café by Thattearoom Howden:
Enjoy delightful treats while you immerse yourself in the world of art.
2. At Howden Shire Hall
-Local Artists' Display:
A showcase of diverse and wide-ranging artworks by local artists. A perfect spot to meet the artists, engage in enriching conversations, and maybe pick up some art tips and tricks!
3. At Howden Pre-School
- Sensory Art Exhibition:
Tailored for our younger audience, this exhibition promises an engaging and interactive experience for children.
